Flight preparation and control during a flight can be carried out in a simple and clear manner. The computer is approved as an aid in the licence examination according to JAR-FCL and is therefore particularly suitable for training and exam preparation. But also in flight operations it is a functionally reliable navigation device independent of energy sources. Thanks to a novel scale arrangement, the True Airspeed TAS can be determined with all correction steps from IAS via CAS, EAS and DAS in a single setting, taking into account the compressibility of the air. Equally simple are calculations of the True Altitude as well as the travel and flight time, speed in climb and descent, course correction and reversal limit point. On the reverse side, direction and speed vectors of wind and aircraft provide a clear picture of the course and position of the aircraft.

The matte finish on the wind side of the calculator can be marked with a pencil during use, and easly wiped clean to allow input for the next problem.
