Das aus der plastischen Chirurgie stammende Silikon dient als Grundmaterial für das im 2-Kammerverbund gefertigte Ohrpolster. Anpassungsfähig wie noch nie umfließt es die kleinsten Undichtigkeiten. Das neue Ohrpolster steigert nun die Lärmdämmung um weitere 2 dB. Eine deutliche Erhöhung des Tragekomforts besonders bei Bart- und Brillenträgern ist das der Fall. Es ist auslaufsicher und bei allen Temperaturen geschmeidig. Das Ohr wird trotz der hohen Abdichtung gekühlt und belüftet.
Die Gehörschutzkappen des TC-50AS ist mit einer kratzfesten schwarzen Gummischicht überzogen. Die Akustik ist dadurch sehr viel besser. Die Oberflächen fühlen sich weich, griffig und hochwertig an. Lichtreflektionen werden in der Kabinenhaube vermieden.
Der Mikrofonarm ist frei schwenkbar, der sowohl rechts,- als auch links getragen werden kann.
Die zeitlose Anmutung des Designs wird durch funktionelle, aber edel wirkende Materialien unterstützt. Polierter Edelstahl, harmonisch verpackt in einer breiten weichen neu konstruierten Kopfpolsterauflage. Diese verteilt das Gewicht unmerklich über Stunden.

Die Tasche besteht aus hochwertigem, leichten Nylon, ist rundum gepolstert und hat einen verstärkten Boden zum Herausnehmen.
Das Hauptfach lässt sich variabel einteilen und bietet dadurch sehr guten Halt.
Damit die Tasche nicht so leicht verschmutzt, befinden sich auf der Unterseite kleine Stellfüße.
Auf der Vorderseite sind eine Außentasche mit Zwei-Wege-Zipp für den schnellen Zugriff und ein großes Einsteckfach für Karten, Anflugblätter, Flugplan usw. angebracht.
Im Inneren bietet die Tasche viele Einsteckmöglichkeiten. Des Weiteren sind noch mehrere Stifthalter und Batteriehalter vorhanden.

A profile page in the front of the logbook provides room to include personal info such as licenses held, date issued, license number, ratings, and aircraft type. Left facing page entry columns include date, departure and arrival (place and time), aircraft make, model, registration, PIC, single time, multi-time, total flight time, and day/night landings.
