Press release 05-2022
AERO was a complete success
After a two-year break, the AERO aviation trade fair took place again in Friedrichshafen from 27 to 30 April 2022. Eisenschmidt, supported by DFS as a co-exhibitor, was able to present itself successfully at the new trade fair stand. Â Â Â
According to the trade fair organiser, this year's AERO attracted 27,700 visitors and 633 exhibitors. The good mood at the trade fair finally taking place again was clearly noticeable. Everyone was pleased that they could finally meet old acquaintances in person again and make new contacts.
Eisenschmidt presents a new trade fair stand as well as many products as trade fair premieres.
The team received many compliments for the trade fair stand, which was set up for the first time. The combination of wood and white with green accents made a fresh and modern impression. The focus is on the presentation of the diverse Eisenschmidt product range, but also leaves enough space for discussions in large or small groups.
Another highlight was the first appearance of the Eisenschmidt hot air balloon. The balloon is looked after and flown by Ballonteam Rhein-Main. During the trade fair, the balloon could be raised and lowered several times in the inner courtyard -Â An impressive spectacle that attracted crowds of people and made the name "Eisenschmidt" highly visible on the exhibition grounds.
The DFS Flight Information Service (FIS), the Central Flight Information Service (AIS-C) and the NfL office were co-exhibitors at the stand. As always, visitors were delighted to meet DFS experts in person. Some even came with a catalogue of questions collected by the association in order to make effective use of the opportunity for a personal discussion.
The panel discussions and presentations by Herwart Goldbach were well received as usual. For many visitors, a visit to the AERO Conferences is a fixed item on the programme during their stay at AERO. Eisenschmidt presented books by the authors themselves for the first time at this event. Whether radiotelephony, travelling abroad or IFR flying - the personal encounter with specialists in their field attracted many guests.
The date for the next AERO has already been set: anyone interested in aviation should make a note of April 19-22 for a visit to Friedrichshafen.
