Rechteverwaltung
Die erweiterte bzw. geänderte Rechteverwaltung der neuen Windows Betriebssysteme hatte bereits bei der Version 5.6 verschiedene Anpassung des Flight Planner notwendig gemacht. Der Flight Planner 6 kann jetzt auch von einem Benutzer ohne Administrator Rechte (Standardbenutzer) benutzt werden. Nur zur Installation von Daten und Karten benötigen Sie Administrator Rechte.

Der Flight Planner arbeitet mit Rasterkarten, die nahtlos dargestellt werden und frei zoombar sind. Die verschiedenen Karten sind miteinander kombinierbar. Sie werden übereinander bzw. nahtlos nebeneinander dargestellt und können wahlweise ein- und ausgeblendet werden.
