The author describes the various problems of radio navigation in a very clear way with high quality illustrations. It is beneficial in this respect: Instead of animating the pilot to solve mental arithmetic tasks, he offers plastic suggestions for solutions that do not burden the pilot, but enable him to interpret his spatial position quickly and safely without any major mental processes. This book is to date the best we have seen on this subject.
