Basic course for the radio navigation section of the theory exam (course language: German)

With the basic courses offered by Pilots First Academy, aspiring pilots of all licence types can acquire the knowledge they need to pass the theory exam. The courses cover the basic content recommended in the EASA syllabus. This enables effective preparation and follow-up for the theory lessons, online and independent of time and place.

Our e-learning course on radio navigation is a comprehensive and practical training course for pilots. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of radio navigation in aviation. Participants learn how navigation systems such as VOR, ADF/NDB, radar and satellite navigation work and understand their application for safe and precise navigation in flight. The aim is to create a sound theoretical and practical basis for the safe use of these technologies in aviation.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be well equipped to use radio navigation systems safely and accurately, determine their position, and effectively integrate navigation aids such as VOR, ADF/NDB, radar and GPS into their flight planning and execution.

Each module includes a detailed explanation of the topic, followed by practical instructions and exercises to help participants improve their skills. The modules were created by experienced and qualified flight instructors and additionally reviewed by a medical specialist.
