Basic theory course for the subject ‘Fundamentals of Flying’ (course language: German)

Pilots gain essential knowledge of basic aerodynamics (in the subsonic range) as well as the necessary knowledge of stable flight behaviour and aircraft control. In addition, its operating limits are explained and the specific basics of propeller propulsion are covered. The final module compares the aerodynamic forces acting in all relevant flight phases.

Upon completion of the course, participants will have acquired the necessary aerodynamic theory concepts to be able to implement the content of the practical flight training.
